Rosewood essential oil

Description

Rosewood contains the highest concentration of linalool, around 80%. Linalool is a recognized sedative and anxiolytic: it inhibits the binding of glutamate in the cerebral cortex, and inhibits the release of acetylcholine and reduces the opening time of ion channels at the neuromuscular junction. Used in diffusion and topical application.
